The overall cash game online poker traffic numbers fell for the fifth consecutive time. PokerStars has reaffirmed its place as the biggest poker site boasting more players than the next 10 most popular poker sites.

Georgia based online poker site Adjarabet has been riding its Magic Hands promotion for several months now. iPoker France has moved up to the third place spot in the French regulated online poker market.

The worldwide online poker cash game player count dropped by 1% this week, which wasn’t unexpected due to the holidays having people busy with celebrating and having less time to play poker.

The worldwide online poker cash game market dipped by a total of 7% this week, giving back most of the 10% gain it delivered the week before.

PokerStars is maintaining its average of 18,500 cash game players in spite of a lot of dissatisfaction being expressed by players there over recent rake increases, high stakes play actually increased.

Online poker traffic as a whole fell by 3% last week, during a period where overall traffic is traditionally at its highest peak of the year.  However, it is only down 9% from this time last year.

Online poker traffic rose 1% this week, ending the streak of three consecutive weeks of decline. Traffic is still off 13% from where it was this time last year.  Poker Stars continues to enjoy a huge advantage over the pack.

Not only is the iPoker Network the biggest, it's also currently the third most popular place in the world to play online poker behind only Poker Stars and Full Tilt Poker.
