Poker is a gambling games which involves your luck and some skill. It can be played with set of 52 cards according to some specific rules. It is most popular in north America. It is played in private home games, in poker clubs, in casinos, and over the internet too. Rules
Depending on the game rules, one or more players are required to place an initial amount of money into the pot before the cards are dealt. These are called forced bets and come in three forms: antes, blinds, and bring-ins. Like in most card games, the dealer shuffles the deck of cards and the appropriate number of cards are dealt face-down to the players.
When cards are dealt, each player has to make decision on his/her next move. In each round player can fold, call, bet or raise.
Fold: A fold can happen at any point in the play when it is your turn to act. Folding in poker means you are out of hand.
Bet: Players may bet if no other players have bet during the current round.
Call: Players can call of if other players have bet during the current round.
Raise: This happen when you are having a strong hand or trying to win the pot.
In the final round, players who are still in the game, must show their cards. Player with the highest hand wins the game and get all the money in the pot
Hand rankings
The poker hand consists of 5 cards. The various combinations of Poker hands rank from five of a kind (the highest) to no pair or high card (the lowest). Below you can find poker hand rankings form highest to lowest.
Five of a Kind:This is the highest possible hand and can occur only in games where at least one card is wild, such as a joker, The two one-eyed jacks, or the four deuces.
Straight flush:It is Royal flush or a royal straight flush and it is highest possible hand. There are no wild cards. A straight flush consists of five cards of the same suit in sequence, such as 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 of hearts. The highest-ranking straight flush is the A, K, Q, J, and 10 of one suit.
Four of a kind:Four cards of the same rank and any one other card.
Full house:Three cards of one rank and two of another.
Flush:Five cards of the same suit.
Straight:Five cards in sequence (for example, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).
Three of a kind:Three cards of the same rank.
Two pair:Two cards of one rank and two cards of another.
One pair:Two cards of the same rank.
High card:If no one has a pair, the highest total card wins.
